Two suggestions to get you to bed earlier🥱1) Go to bed just 15 minutes earlier for a few nights, then an additional 15 minutes earlier for a few more nights until you reach a time that’s noticeably made a big difference to you. My ideal time is 10pm, but 10:30pm is more realistic and consistent. Then I still aim for option two on Sundays.2) Set an early bedtime once a week. Choose one night like a Sunday evening and make a lovely ritual so that it is something to look forward to. For example, wind down with a warm bubble bath, a face mask and then jump straight to bed reading a book or magazine before drifting off to sleep.Give one of these a try and perhaps journal about how you feel afterwards to see what works best for you. This is the basis of what worked for me.These four pillars of the Just Breathe Mama Coach Signature Program are what led me to feel at my best within motherhood. As we all know when life turns up the stress in our lives we are more susceptible to illness, overwhelm, anxiety and depression. In order to feel healthy in body, mind and soul, I feel it’s extremely important to nourish yourself, make time to do something you love to do, be reminded of the values you want to encompass and live a more simplified life.Over the next little while we’ll dive deep and explore each pillar. Which one are you looking forward to hearing about – self-care, creativity, values or simplicity?#justbreathemamacoach #momcoachformoms #momcoachingprogram #signatureprogram #selfcare #creativity #values #simplicity #momencouragement #joyfulmotherhood #calminthechaos #stayathomemoms #MomsOfLittles #overwhelmedmoms #momtips #mama #stressedmama #busymomlife See MoreSee Less

What is your word for the year?🤔In addition to reflection, I also like to choose a word for the year. It’s a great way to set an intention for the year ahead: how you want to feel, what you want to improve, or what you want to focus on. For example, you may choose the word fun, connection, calm, self-love, presence or delight. Maybe it’s even a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ There are so many to choose from! If you sit quietly and tune into your heart, which word speaks to you? You can use books, podcasts and conversations if you need a little inspiration. One of my previous coaches used the word ‘breathe.’ Whenever she heard, read or thought of the word, she would take in a deep nourishing breath. My word for 2021 was courage and did it ever come in handy. It took courage for me to launch my own business, say yes to speaking opportunities and to keep moving the needle forward. My word for 2022 is BALANCE. This will serve as a wonderful reminder to spend my time and energy on the things that are important to me and my family. So tell me, what is your word for the year? I would love to know!#wordfortheyear #wordfortheyear2021 #newyear #momcoach #balance #courage #makeintentions #selflove #whatsyourword #startoftheyear #whatsimportanttoyou #livelifeintentionally #motherhoodjourney #fillyourcup See MoreSee Less

I’ve never been one to make New Year’s Resolutions. It’s just something I’ve never done.Perhaps it’s because I regularly re-evaluate my intentions and set new intentions throughout the year. My husband and I do this together too, for us as a couple, for our finances and for our family. It’s not something that we have to schedule because it happens naturally for us. I do use the time at the end of the year to reflect. I believe it’s important to see what’s working, what can be improved, how far you’ve come and to celebrate all you’ve accomplished. Mama, if 2021 was a tough year and you really need the beginning of 2022 to be a fresh start, then I encourage you to dig deep and find what you can celebrate now. Make a list of everything. It doesn’t matter if it’s seemingly insignificant, a win is a win and all the little wins add up!Look back and reflect. See the strength, the growth, the patience, the fun and the love. Celebrate it! Look back at how far you’ve come. Raise your vibrations for the start of 2022.Tell me, what are you celebrating?🎉#momencouragement #reflections #newyears #celebratethelittevictories #intentionsetting #celebratehowfaryouvecome #2022freshstart #joyfulmotherhood #pandemicmoms See MoreSee Less
